The Village Of Elmsford
Located in the southwestern section of Westchester County, the village with a population of 4600 is part of the Town of Greenburg.
It is thought by many that the term “cocktail” originated in Elmsford, when out of wooden stirrers, tavern patrons were given rooster tails to stir their drinks.
